Ella Korth is a driving guitar and banjo player and an emotive singer-songwriter. Originally from Nelson, BC, Ella fell in love with the Winnipeg music scene and has since toured as a side musician with Leith Ross, Madeleine Roger, filled in on electric guitar in Boy Golden for a couple festivals, and then started her own bluegrass band in Winnipeg, playing at Time Change(d) and Harvest Moon Festival. Her debut album, set to be released in September 2026, was recorded in Nashville, TN, with producer John Mailander (recording artist with Billy Strings, Bruce Hornsby and Noah Kahan) and features some amazing guest vocalists from the Winnipeg scene. Ella tours as a side musician in The John Hartford Fiddle Tune Project (based in Nashville) and with her own bluegrass band. When off the road, Ella loves to paint and go paddling.
