Winnipeg-based folk musician and visual artist James Culleton returns in 2026 with Love Lasts Forever, a deeply personal collection of songs exploring love, loss, memory, and resilience. Marking his 13th studio album — and his first adult folk release following five children’s records — the 11-song, 43-minute project is a heartfelt return to his early songwriting roots.
Many of the songs on Love Lasts Forever were inspired by stories Culleton gathered while touring Manitoba with the Home Routes concert series. From intimate living rooms to prairie towns, real-life encounters and listening shaped an album grounded in community storytelling and lived experience.
