What is your business called and what does it do?

Søbr Market – imports, distributes and retails non-alcoholic beverages

At Søbr Market, our mission is clear: to share the best non-alcoholic drinks with as many people as possible. With bottle shops nationwide, global online shipping, and North America’s largest dedicated non-alcoholic import and distribution network, we connect great drinks directly to consumers and businesses alike.

What made you want to do this work?

Personal venture that developed into a business. When I first started looking for non-alcoholic options, there wasn’t really anything good tasting available in Canada. After personally importing from Europe and the US, my wife (Jessie, co-founder) and I realized there must be other people looking for better options, and it was not feasible for everyone to import personal orders from around the world. So we started Søbr Market.

Who are your clientele/demographics?

Anyone and everyone. Everyone has a reason for choosing non-alcoholic options, whether it’s full-time or for specific situations.

How does your business make money? How does it work?

We sell drinks 🙂 We distribute to retailers and restaurants/bars across the country. We also sell direct to consumers worldwide.

Helping people find the perfect drink. Worst: non-alcoholic beverages are heavy, fragile and freeze – the logistics behind our operation is a lot of work that isn’t always fun
